Presentation at the reorganisation conference in Munich

On 26 February 2026, Judge at the Higher Regional Court Professor Dominik Skauradszun, LL.M. spoke at the Munich Restructuring Conference, which was organised by the Hamburg Circle for Restructuring and Insolvency Tax Law and the Distressed Ladies.

On the occasion of the evaluation of the German Corporate Stabilisation and Restructuring Act (StaRUG), he presented a quantitative analysis of all legal remedy proceedings in corporate restructurings published to date on the basis of the StaRUG. Due to the desolate prospects of success before all German restructuring and appeal courts, with a success rate of zero after around five years, he called for legislative amendments to Section 66 StaRUG. The exact solution proposed was based on a publication by him with Fulda doctoral candidates Sebastian Böhning and Jeremias Kümpel.
