The international Master's programme at the Department of Nutritional, Food and Consumer Sciences will start in the winter semester 2026/27.

The Department of Nutritional, Food and Consumer Sciences will be introducing the new Master's programme "Nutrition, Health and Food Systems" in the winter semester 2026/27. In this program, students have the opportunity to specialise their knowledge in the areas of nutrition, sustainability and business.

The new Master's programme qualifies students to become experts at the interface of our society. When developing the study programme, care was taken to ensure that the profile can be individually adapted to meet students' respective career goals. The four-semester Master's programme with 120 ECTS credits can be completed either entirely in English or bilingually in English and German.

As is usual in the department, this consecutive study programme places great emphasis on academic research and on combining theory and practice. At the centre of the Master's degree is a three-semester research project, which is individually supervised and related to practice. Students are offered individualised options.

Further details on the study programme and the application procedure can be found here.
