Vita

Johannes Konert war als Professor für Web Engineering an der Beuth Hochschule Berlin tätig (2015-2020) bevor er als Professor für Programmierung und Webtechnologien der Hochschule Fulda berufen wurde. Als Gründungsmitglied der Digitalisierungskommission der Beuth Hochschule gestaltete er die digitale Zukunft der Hochschule Einsatz digitalen Medien in der Lehre aktiv mit.

Vor seiner Tätigkeit als Professor hat er ein Social Media Unternehmen gegründet und als DFG-Stipendiat des Graduiertenkollegs E-Learning an der TU Darmstadt promoviert. Dabei entwickelte er Lösungen für den Wissensaustausch in Lernspielen mittels Social Media Technologien.

Aktuell erforscht Herr Konert die Nutzung moderner Webtechnologien für die Vernetzung und die Optimierung individueller Lernerfahrungen in Social-Media-basierten Lernanwendungen.

Herr Konert ist Co-Autor von Buchkapiteln und Publikationen im Forschungsfeld des Technologiegestützten Lernens (TEL) und engagiert sich als Komiteemitglied bei internationalen Konferenzen und Journals. Seit 2016 ist er im Leitungskreis der Fachgruppe Bildungstechnologien der Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. tätig, welche jährlich die größte deutschsprachige Tagung für Bildungstechnologien in der Informatik ausrichtet (DELFI). Im Herbst 2020 wurde er zum Sprecher der Fachgruppe Bildungstechnologien gewählt.

Lehrgebiete / Module

Forschungsschwerpunkte

Herr Konert befasst sich in der Forschung mit dem Einsatz von Webtechnologien, Web-Engineering-Methoden und Prozessmodellen zur Erstellung moderner Webanwendungen für das Lernen (Forschungsfeld: Bildungstechnologien). Ein wesentliches Forschungsziel ist die Förderung des selbstgesteuerten Lernens (formale, non-formale  und informelle Bildungskontexte).

Dies umfasst insbesondere die folgenden Forschungsbereiche (und Technologien):

  • Web-Technologien (Semantic Web, Service-orientierte Anwendungen, Content Management, Web-Entwicklungsframeworks/Stacks wie MERN)
  • Problembasiertes Lernen (pädagogische Modelle, Psychologie, Lernanalytik, Peer Education)
  • Social Media (Entwurfsmuster für soziale Interaktion, Analyse sozialer Netzwerke, große Datenverarbeitung)

Relevante Aspekte sind:

  • Kontextbezogene Anpassung von Web-Oberflächen (Reaktionsfähige Gestaltung, 3D und Web, Mobile Web)
  • Lernzielidentifikation (Visualisierungs- und Anpassungswerkzeuge)
  • Anpassung und Personalisierung von Lernfluss und Arbeitsablauf (Educational Data Mining, Learning Analytics, Graphenmodelle, Context Awareness und Recommender Systeme)
  • Bewertung der Lernfortschritte & Testgenerierung (Aufgaben im offenen Format, Modellierung der Lernenden)
  • Bildung von Lerngruppen (Empfehlungs- und Gruppenbildungsalgorithmen)

In diesen Forschungsfeldern ist Herr Konert in nationalen und internationalen Forschungsverbünden tätig, berate Firmen bei Forschungsvorhaben und -Antragstellung und verfasst Gutachten zu Publikationen und Forschungsvorhaben sowie Sachgutachten zu Internettechnologien.
