Here you will find some R&D project results created and developed in the department Industrial Automation & System Technology by students or myself. Just open the accordion elements to explore them. It's the cream on the ice and just an excerpt of many great results within more than one decade.

After just swiping or better reading this page, you may wonder why there are so many animals, plants and non-technical things here that seem to have nothing to do with electrical engineering or industrial automation.

As with most complicated things, the answer is trivial: An open mind and an appreciation for the tiny things in our habitat will allow you to see and respect the beauty of our physical world. Or technically speaking: When it comes to motion-control, nature is millions of years ahead of humans. So learning from nature helps me to do research in my favorite field of research... and by the way, I like colors and ice cream.
