International Student Advisory Group : Hochschule Fulda

The International Student Advisory Group (ISAG) was founded to give international students a voice and ensure that they are represented by people who share their experiences. We provide a space where students can voice their concerns, share ideas and seek advice on life at Fulda University and in Germany.

As the number of international students in Fulda continues to grow, our role is becoming increasingly important. We have set ourselves the following goals:

• to help the university understand the needs, challenges and perspectives of international students
• to improve processes and communication and support new, current and outgoing students
• to advocate for solutions to key issues such as housing, integration and student welfare by maintaining open communication with relevant authorities and organisations. Through reporting and ongoing dialogue, we aim to ensure that students' concerns are heard, understood and addressed, while monitoring what actions are being taken.
• Building a permanent structure that will effectively support international students into the future

Our ultimate goal is to make Fulda University of Applied Sciences as welcoming, supportive and attractive as possible for international students - so they can feel heard, reduce stress and succeed academically and personally during their stay in Germany.
