Feedback in blended learning environments
FiBLU provides teachers with options for obtaining feedback from students during the current semester and incorporating changes into the courses based on this feedback. This makes it possible to make individual and student-oriented adjustments before the semester examinations.
For this purpose, a module was successfully developed to record student feedback anonymously via the Moodle platform or, if desired, with the student's name. This module is also used for communication and clarification of open questions among the students. Student feedback and answers can be marked with stars in a rating system. The corresponding ranking can be used for prioritised answers to the questions as well as for creating a mood picture during the course.
In addition to this Moodle extension (so-called "Courseboard"), the FiBLU team has developed a self-assessment test ("Pretest") and a self-designed evaluation after completion of the chapter or module (anonymous directly in Moodle as opposed to separate evaluation methods).
