The goal of the Flin project was the interactive use of large and complex 3D data on mobile devices through 3D cloud rendering with reduction of latencies due to lack of processor or network performance.
In particular, methods were developed for smart graph cloning, for example to improve the latency for launching complex 3D web applications, as well as interaction-by-proxy to unify the use of interaction options (touch, mouse, sensors) to support all current devices without server dependencies.
Application examples from the fields of furniture planning and construction documentation were implemented.
