CHE Ranking: Business IT convinces :
Study programme with very good results in 2026

The Bachelor's degree in business informatics achieved a very good result in the current CHE Ranking 2026.

The study programme achieved the top ranking in "Contact with professional practice", "Support at the beginning of studies" and "Study situation".

The consistently practice-oriented study programme offers students many opportunities to prepare themselves in the best possible way for later professional practice. For example, theoretical knowledge is directly implemented in the software in various internships. The department also uses software from market leaders such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. In addition, courses taught by practitioners, practical projects and company excursions complement the program. After completing their internship and Bachelor's thesis in an enterprise, many students receive an offer of further employment.

Fulda University of Applied Sciences supports students in the various phases of their university studies. Particularly noteworthy is the support provided at the beginning of the programme, which the CHE Ranking assessed as top. For example, preliminary courses in mathematics and programming make the transition to university easier.

You don't have to be able to programme before the start of programme; an interest in the further development of enterprises at the interface of business administration and IT is more important.

The department is particularly pleased with the top ranking in the assessment by its own students, who praise not only the teaching but also the university's very good resources.

Applications for the Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics have been open for the coming winter semester since 1 May.
