Jordanian people are very hospitable and proud of their culture. Jordanians are also known for their politeness and friendliness. It is common for me to be invited to their homes to eat and drink together.
I can recommend a semester abroad in Jordan to anyone interested in Arab culture and the Middle East. The people and their hospitality is unforgettable. The nature, whether desert, mountains or waters, is unique.

There are countless positive experiences in Jordan. In addition to the beautiful landscapes and views, however, the helpfulness and hospitality of the local population must be emphasised above all.
I would describe my time in Jordan as the best months of my life. The country is beautiful, besides the sunshine there are mountains, many historical places, the sea in the south and of course the Dead Sea.

Attending a university in the United States has always been my dream. In my exchange year 2014/15, I was already thinking with "A Call To College" about how I could best go about coming back to the USA and spending all four years here. The Hesse - Massachusetts exchange came more or less by chance for me and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. An exchange is a lifetime enrichment, with experiences and memories that you carry with you forever.

The semester abroad at WVU and especially in the USA helped me a lot to get to know and understand the American culture better. It especially helped me to speak English every day and thus improve my language skills. This challenge makes this stay special. It is an adjustment to move from a small university in Germany to a large university in the USA. At WVU, students are offered a lot. In addition to the excellent sports facilities, there are regular events. Thus, you won't get bored in Morgantown and you get the whole experience of studying at an American university.

We also go on excursions with the courses at the university, and part of the costs are reimbursed by the university. For example, we went to the Biwa lake terraces and to a tea ceremony in Kyoto. I also went on a sightseeing tour almost every weekend during the semester to take in as much as possible.
