Doctoral seminar in Mannheim
11 Mar 2026
On 7 March 2026, the doctoral students of Higher Regional Court judge Professor Hon. Prof. Dr Dominik Skauradszun, LL.M. presented the interim and final results of their dissertations in Mannheim.
The annual doctoral candidate and staff seminars are also attended by researchers who have obtained their doctorates from Prof. Skauradszun, with the seminar usually being hosted by the most recently graduated doctoral candidate. This year's host was Dr David Blum, who obtained his doctorate in corporate, insolvency and restructuring law under Professor Skauradszun and is now an insolvency administrator at Anchor. Dr Walter Nijnens (De Brauw, Amsterdam) and Dr Johannes Schröder (Simmons & Simmons, Düsseldorf) also took part.
Current doctoral candidates Clara Wrede, Jeremias Kümpel, Leander Bücken, Alana Harnack and Selina Schweizer gave presentations; Sebastian Böhning was unable to attend. Alicia Richter presented the results on behalf of the examined assistants.
