Successful start to the 2026 summer semester

Monday began with a central welcome in the cafeteria by the president and the AStA. Afterwards, the new students were able to gain their first impressions and get to know each other during campus tours and a get-together with the student association.

The day continued with a welcome from the Department of Business: the dean, the student association, the stock exchange group and the support association officially welcomed the new students and provided initial insights into university studies and the network at the department. The day was rounded off with a joint pub crawl through Fulda with the student association.

On Tuesday, the focus was on orientation in university studies. In addition to organisational assistance, such as how to get to grips with the timetable, students were given important information about the course of study in the respective study programmes. During the subsequent city rally, the new students were able to explore the campus and the city in small groups in an entertaining way.

Wednesday offered further support for a successful start to university studies: the "Let's team up" workshop focused on tips, tools and points of contact. The program was supplemented by a university fair with various support services and a presentation on student funding.

The induction week thus offered numerous opportunities to find your feet in your new environment, clarify questions and make initial contacts.
