15 Jul 2025

In the summer semester of 2025, the Förderverein of the Department of Business once again awarded three scholarships of €500 each. The scholarships support students who are planning or currently completing a semester or internship abroad. The awards ceremony took place on June 25, 2025, at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. This semester’s recipients Kevin Fischer, Marie Grasser, and Le Quynh Nhu Nguyenn were recognized for their academic achievements, their commitment, and their international orientation.

Kevin Fischer, a student of International Business Administration at Fulda University, will spend a semester abroad at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena in Spain starting in September 2025. His goal is to improve his Spanish and strengthen his intercultural skills. Since May 2023, he has volunteered as the Financial Director of the AStA student union, where he manages finances and organizes numerous student events, such as karaoke nights, cultural programs, and the university’s large campus festival. The scholarship enables him to focus on his studies abroad without financial pressure.

Marie Grasser studies International Business and Management at Fulda University and will spend her semester abroad at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena starting in the winter semester 2025/26. Alongside her studies, she works as a student assistant in marketing and has served since May 2023 as the AStA’s Public Relations Officer. In this role, she is responsible for communication formats and represents student interests within the university. She also supports her peers as part of the Buddy Program, assisting them with day-to-day and organizational matters. The scholarship allows her to fully concentrate on her academic and intercultural engagement during her time abroad.

Le Quynh Nhu Nguyen is studying International Business and Management at Fulda University and is planning a semester abroad at Shenzhen Technology University in China for the summer semester 2026. She aims to deepen her knowledge of economics and gain first-hand insights into Chinese culture. Previously, she gained international experience as an exchange student at Paderborn University. She is also actively involved as Vice President Finance & Legal at AIESEC Frankfurt, where she supports global student exchange programs. The scholarship supports her financially and logistically in preparing for her upcoming studies in China.

Congratulations to Kevin Fischer, Marie Grasser, and Le Quynh Nhu Nguyen on receiving their scholarships. The Förderverein wishes them continued success and enriching experiences in their studies and international endeavors.
