Presentation at the University of Mannheim

How can digitalisation technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data analytics and AI contribute to making supply chains as resilient as possible? Professor Michael Huth investigated this question and analysed which technologies are suitable for which tasks in risk and resilience management.

He was able to present his research findings at the 19th Academic Symposium on Supply Management. The symposium was organised by the Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logisitk e.V. (BME) and the Endowed Chair of Procurement at the University of Mannheim under the direction of Prof. Dr Christoph Bode. Around 50 international academics presented and discussed the latest results of their research activities.

The accepted contributions will be published in an anthology by Springer in the autumn.
