Fulda Centre for Business Management and Entrepreneurship (FU³)
Research, networking, practice and knowledge transfer
The FU³, as an academic facility of the Department of Business, is dedicated to bundling and coordinating all research and transfer activities in the field of Business Management and business start-ups.
Our market-based economic system depends on the ability and willingness of people to set up and manage enterprises. Start-ups pick up on new trends and manage them to product maturity. Entrepreneurs turn innovations, discoveries, developments and research results into innovations that manage to lower prices or improve products and thus support social prosperity. Only through the ability and willingness of entrepreneurs to take risks and implement change is it possible for many people to find secure and sustainable employment in the labour market. The ability to act as an entrepreneur is therefore in society's interest.
The FU³ researches the success factors of Business Management and start-ups and communicates the resulting findings to society: to students at the university, to entrepreneurs, to start-ups and to politicians in the region.
In most industries, in addition to business management competences, other specialist competences are also important depending on the product. The centre is therefore necessarily interdisciplinary and attractive to members of all departments at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. This includes not only the colleagues who represent the specialist field of business administration in the various departments, but also, for example, law, engineering, health and social scientists from other disciplines.
