research

Our applied research focuses on interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary projects. We work on a broad spectrum of business, economic and legal issues in the field of Business Management and Business Start-ups.

Networking

We support collaboration with regional, national and international stakeholders. We achieve this through working and research collaborations, conferences, workshops, publications and training programmes.

Practice and knowledge transfer

We disseminate our research results in the region and beyond, and integrate impulses from practice. Knowledge transfer takes place through dialogue events, conferences and further training courses that combine academic and practical activities.

Tasks

The tasks of the centre are the bundling and coordination of all research and transfer activities in the field of business management and business start-ups.

This is achieved through:

  • Project-related pooling of knowledge and approaches of trans- and interdisciplinary actors.
  • Further development of the topic-related research infrastructure
  • Support for trans- or interdisciplinary research proposals for third-party funded projects
  • Expansion of the transfer of practice in the merging of scientific and practical activity through appropriate offers of cooperation with practice.
  • Development of knowledge transfer through the organisation of dialogue events, workshops and working group meetings, presentation of research findings at conferences or the offer of further training
  • Assuming responsibility in civil society by providing scientific support for projects, advising organisations and politicians, and evaluating projects, especially in the region.
