Interdisciplinary member network

Our interdisciplinary member network provides a platform for exchange and collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs and students. Members have the opportunity to work on joint research projects, expand their knowledge and make valuable contacts.

Networking with the region

We work closely with the regional economic development agency and other local institutions to accompany and support start-up activities from an academic perspective. Through joint projects and initiatives, we strengthen the regional business and support innovation.

Transfer events

Our events offer a platform for exchange between research, business, society and politics. Here we present the latest research findings and discuss their application in practice.

The multifaceted challenges in the field of business management and business start-ups require equally multifaceted, application-oriented and interdisciplinary approaches to solutions. The FU³ is therefore necessarily interdisciplinary and attractive for members of all departments at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. So far, almost 50 professors and academic staff from all departments of Fulda University of Applied Sciences have joined forces in the FU³. Together, they aim to promote the transfer between research, practice and society.

Networking with the region

Decisive success factors for business start-ups and the successful management of enterprises are a functioning regional ecosystem with a founder-friendly climate in the start-up region. Ecosystems must be strengthened in a targeted manner to ensure that the existing location conditions meet the challenges of entrepreneurial activity. Universities and research institutions play an important role in sensitising and qualifying start-ups and enabling Business Management. As a network platform and network partner, the Fulda Centre for Business Management and Entrepreneurship (FU³) expands the regional ecosystem that has already passed.

Our projects and initiatives:

  • Cooperation with local enterprises for the funding of start-ups
  • Support for start-up processes through university studies
  • Courses and workshops in collaboration with the Economic Development Agency
