Fulda University of Applied Sciences maintains a close exchange with practical placement partners from society and business. The Fulda University Transfer Centre, located close to the city centre, bundles activities relating to knowledge transfer, continuing university education, business start-ups and research cooperation under one roof. Enterprises and institutions interested in collaboration with the university will not only find their contact persons for the topics mentioned here, but also suitable rooms for their courses with thematic proximity to the university.

Our rooms

The Fulda University Transfer Centre offers the perfect setting for conferences, workshops and meetings. The rooms can be booked by members of the Fulda University of Applied Sciences, but also by external enterprises/institutions that organise courses together with the university or with thematic proximity. What we offer you:

  • Rooms for both small and larger groups (up to 120 people)

  • Central University Administration in the centre of Fulda, close to the Fulda ICE train station and a 5-minute walk from there

  • Organisational support with event preparation and implementation

  • Catering also possible on request

Lecture room entrance 1a

Around 160 m² in size

with cinema seating (rows of chairs) space for 120 people

with conference seating (U-shaped tables) space for 40 people

Room can be divided into approx. 60 m² (front area) and approx. 100 m² (rear area)

offers space for 50-60 people with parliamentary seating

By train and bus:
It is about a 5-minute walk from the main railway station. It is also a 5-minute walk from the Stadtschloss bus station.

By car:
A 7: Exit Fulda-Nord, direction Leipziger Straße, follow signs to Fulda-Zentrum, turn left after railway subway, then right at next traffic lights.
A 66 motorway (Frankfurt/B 40): Exit Fulda-Süd/B27, direction Fulda, exit Leipziger Str., follow signs to Fulda-Zentrum, turn left after railway subway, then turn right at the next traffic lights.
Take the B254 (Alsfeld/Lauterbach): Until you enter Fulda (after the railway bridge), then turn left at the second set of traffic lights towards the city centre. From there towards ICE railway station, turn right before the railway subway, then right at the next set of traffic lights.
Parking is available in the surrounding multi-storey car parks.

By plane:
The nearest airport is Frankfurt a. M., from there there are direct train connections to Fulda as well as connections via Frankfurt a. M. Central Station.

Directions to download

The Fulda University Transfer Centre at Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz 1b and the lecture room (entrance 1a) are open as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 08.00 to 17.00

Friday: 08.00 to 14.30

Saturday: Only open for internal university courses (for further information see intranet).

Sunday: Closed (only open for ZWW continuing education programmes).

Note: Event times from Mon. to Fri. may differ from the opening times mentioned.
