Your replacement - your voice

The Student Association Council (FSR) is the elected replacement of all students in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ET).

The student association councils represent the lowest and most direct level of student representation at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.

The FSR is part of university policy and is in contact with all university committees as well as with the professors, lecturers and university staff.lecturers and university staff in the department.staff in the department.

We are the student representatives in the ET department vis-à-vis lecturers and the department and have co-determination rights in departmental decisions, such as examination regulations and timetables.

Students can contact the FSR with suggestions and problems. These are discussed in our meetings - we always try to help! Complaints about lecturers are always dealt with anonymously.

Actions at the department

Together with the ET department, we are organising the First Days in the winter semester with campus tours, get-togethers and pub crawls! You can find the program on the department's website.

We cordially invite you to our games evenings from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm at Café Chaos! What you can expect: a relaxed atmosphere and lots of fun! Feel free to bring your friends and your own games. Members of other departments are always welcome too!

Together with another FSR, we have a drinks stand at the university festivals every year and organise a cultural programme. We post the program and information about the stand on social media!

To kick off the summer semester, we are organising a get-together for the ET department. The perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow students and have fun!

During Advent, we sell mulled wine on campus for one day and present the FSR to promote the university elections and recruit interested people.

Meetings always take place on Wednesday afternoons in the student council room (Building 30 Room 002) at 1.30 pm. Students of our department, guests and new members are always welcome!

The conditions for membership are:
You want to get involved in your department and the university. You must be a student in the ET department. Students from every semester are welcome, from Bachelor's degree to Master's degree. From the board to the simple member, you can expect a wide range of activities from organisation to social media as well as a say in the department, you can decide for yourself what you want to do!

Advantages for you: You network with students from higher semesters and from other study programmes; your BAföG grant is extended after one year of committee work, you receive an expense allowance each semester for attendance at meetings, and you can expect lots of fun and a cool team!
