We are thrilled to announce that an incredible milestone in the world of technology and innovation was achieved on 10 August. Our two brilliant students, Marcel Paul and David Reimund, made history by setting a new world record with their self-developed electronically powered Bobbycar!
In a breathtaking performance, their Bobbycar crossed the finish line on the legendary Hockenheimring racetrack at an impressive speed of 148.45 km/h. This success is not only the result of tireless dedication, but also a testament to the enormous potential of our students and their ability to push boundaries.
We would like to thank the Record Institute for Germany and the Guinness Book of Records for officially recognising this extraordinary world record. This moment will go down in the annals of innovation and shows how our students can change the world with commitment, creativity and perseverance.
Fulda University of Applied Sciences is incredibly proud of Marcel and David for their groundbreaking achievement. This achievement confirms our commitment to excellence in research and teaching and underlines the role of our university as a melting pot for innovation and future-oriented technologies.
Let's celebrate this historic moment together and highlight the importance of determination and teamwork.
YOU GUYS ARE THE BOMB!
