Topic/Content

This doctoral project aims to investigate how patient involvement can support the acceptance and sustainable integration of AI-supported diagnostics into the care of rare and as yet undiagnosed conditions. To this end, the project will, on the one hand, identify patients’ needs and expectations and outline the practical requirements for implementation. Secondly, the study will examine the extent to which the diagnostic support system under investigation meets the identified requirements and success criteria.
