Closing ceremony 2025

On 16 May, the graduation ceremony of the LT department took place in the festival barn at antonius:gemeinsam Mensch.

After a welcome by Prof. Dr Jörg Kreiker, Vice-President for Learning and Teaching and Digitisation, and a summary of the past year by Dean Prof. Dr Mamadou Diakité and Pro-Dean Prof. Dr Tobias Niebling, there were two keynote speeches on the topic of food law.

A highlight of the evening was the ceremonial farewell to our graduates by Dean of Studies Prof Dr Nicole Buschle:

  • 9 Bachelor's degree students from Food Technology and Business Engineer* in Food Innovation Management

  • 13 Master's students from the Food Processing and Food Processing part-time programmes

As a gift, the graduates received cups and mugs from antonius' GestaltenWerk and chocolate thalers made by the department.

In the period from May 2024 to May 2025, a total of 80 students completed their university studies at the LT department:

  • 33 B.Sc. Food Technology

  • 9 B.Sc. Industrial Engineering Innovation Management Food

  • 2 B.Sc. Science and engineering

  • 22 M.Sc. Food Processing

  • 14 M.Sc. Food Processing part-time

The ceremony ended with a get-together at antonius, followed by many conversations and delicious food.
