Visit from Durban/South Africa

In December, the Department of Food Technology welcomed four students from the Food Technology and Biotechnology study programmes at Durban University of Technology (DUT/South Africa) for a week. In view of the current planning of a partnership between the universities, it was an excellent opportunity to get to know each other.

The 4 students attended lectures and practice classes together with our mentors and mentees and were able to work in the laboratory and technical centre.

They also introduced their university to other students from the department as part of the "Meet & Talk" course and were able to exchange ideas.

We are very much looking forward to future collaboration and would like to thank the DUT for the opportunity to exchange ideas.
