On August 12, 2:00 p.m. 2026, an online Meet & Greet will take place for all applicants to the Bachelor's degree programmes. We would like to invite you to get to know the Department and Hochschule Fulda before your studies begin. Course Registration
Until October 14, 2026 (12:00 p.m.), you can register for your courses as part of the orientation events. Advance registration is not necessary!
Start of Lectures
Classes begin for all degree programmes on October 15, 2026.
The LT department offers preliminary courses before the start of the semester to close knowledge gaps or simply to check your current level of knowledge. This way, you are optimally prepared for the start of your studies with us.
Attendance is voluntary, but is highly recommended by the professors and student tutorial assistants. The contents of the preliminary course are assumed to be known in university studies!
The preliminary courses will take place on site this winter semester 2026/27. An online version is available.

Before your first lectures begin, we would like to welcome you in person and provide you with important information about your studies.
The programme for the induction events (12–14 October 2026) will be available here shortly. Please log in to the relevant Moodle course using your login details (fd number + password).

The introductory session for the part-time M.Sc. in Food Processing is expected to take place online on 12 October. The programme for the introductory session will be available here shortly. Lectures will begin on 15 October 2026.
If you did not complete your Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, or if your Bachelor’s degree comprises fewer than 210 ECTS credits, you may be required to fulfil certain study requirements. You will be informed of any prerequisite requirements in advance by email and during a personal meeting on 12 October.

The introductory event for the part-time M.Sc. in Food Processing will take place online on 14 October. You can find the programme for the introductory event in this document Study Start Master.
If you have not completed your Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or if your Bachelor's degree comprises fewer than 210 ECTS credits, you may be required to fulfil certain study requirements. You will be informed of the study requirements in advance by email and in a personal interview on 14 October. The date will be set during the introductory event on 14 October.
