After my training as a health and nursing professional, I decided to study nursing management. I accompanied this time with 3 years of work in a nursing home for the elderly and in an outpatient care service. After my studies, I made a conscious decision to work as a residential area manager for a large nursing home for the elderly in the Rhine-Main area. I worked in this position for almost two years until I changed institutions within the organisation in 2012 to work as a nursing service manager.
I recommend studying nursing management at the University of Applied Sciences Fulda because in Fulda you get to know the demands and reality of the nursing sector. You get the necessary "tools" to acquire knowledge, to process/evaluate it and to apply it in practice. The competences imparted with regard to personnel and organisational development create certainty in decision-making.
