YOU MATTER! Hessentag 2026

Under the slogan “YOU MATTER”, the Department of Health Sciences at Fulda University of Applied Sciences was represented at Health Day during Hessentag 2026.

Hundreds of visitors took the opportunity to exchange ideas under the hashtag #wissenwasgesundheitschafft. Among them were prospective students, current students, alumni, cooperation partners and visitors to Hessentag from a wide range of backgrounds.

The ‘Future Workshop’, developed specifically for the course, provided a space for exchange on current and future issues relating to health and health care. Together, participants exchanged and discussed their perspectives, experiences and ideas. The diverse range of insights enriches the social dialogue and provides valuable input for further collaboration between the university, the city, the State of Hesse and society at large. At the same time, Hessentag provided an opportunity to showcase the wide range of degree and qualification options available at the department of health science at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and to give interested parties an insight into academic pathways in the health system.

Under the motto “YOU MATTER”, the Department of Health Science encourages people to engage actively with health and to take ownership of their own role in shaping it. Whether in one’s personal life, in one’s profession or at a societal level, every contribution counts when it comes to supporting health together and shaping it for the future.
