Even "heavy boys", i.e. people with a more or less (violent) criminal past, can become in need of care at some point. When they enter residential care, their living habits do not automatically change. How are such situations viewed by actors and what solution strategies are developed by them?

On the basis of an interview with a facility manager on a real case, a case vignette was developed, which was presented as a discussion impulse in 15 interviews with care workers, care managers as well as actors of legal care and the police. The evaluation was carried out in a case-comparative and type-forming manner.
