Borrowing items

Both of our locations offer a wide range of media.

At the Campus location, you will mainly find specialist literature relevant to all degree courses at Fulda University. The Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location offers general scientific literature, fiction and the Children and Young adult Department as well as our historic collections and publications from and about Fulda.

Most of our holdings can be borrowed, but some are for use in the library only. Please note that not all items are freely accessible to users. You will find detailed information on each item in the status display of our online catalogue FILIP (Fulda Information and Literature Portal).

What are the lending terms?

To borrow items, you need your library card and a password. Self-service check-out and return terminals are available at both locations. A 24-hour return terminal is available at the Campus location (view from the main entrance: right side of the building).
