Desks and study rooms

At the Campus location, 11 group study rooms for between 3 and 13 people are available on the first and second floors.

Fulda University students can reserve a group study room. If they are vacant, rooms can be used by anyone without reservation.

At the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location, a group study room for school children and students is available in the annex (access via the lift).
This is not a quiet reading room, but a place where students can meet and work together with computers and using various seating arrangements.

At the Campus location, free single and double study desks are available on the first and second floor. Some desks are wheelchair accessible.

The desks are equipped with “desk reservation discs” to prevent users from occupying them permanently. So remember to set the time whenever you leave your place.

The reading room in the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location is situated on the first floor. It is a quiet study room where users can read books and journals that cannot be borrowed.

Computers with different functions are available at both locations:

Children’s computers
Available at the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location for children’s use only.

The quiet study room in the Campus location is located on the first floor. Talking and using phones and notebooks are not allowed.

The training room is located on the ground floor of the Campus location. It is used mainly for our library training classes. When no training classes are taking place, the computers can be used as research computers.
