Internet access

WiFi is available at both locations. Use the university network eduroam to access our digital services (e.g. databases). The Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location is also part of the city of Fulda’s WiFi hotspot. You have free internet as well as access to all digital services on our computers. Many desks at the Campus location also have LAN connections.
Members of Fulda University can also access our digital media (databases, e-books etc.) from home by logging in via Virtual Private network (VPN).

Wireless (WiFi)

Members of Fulda University can access the eduroam network using their student user fd identification number and password (type: <your fd-number>@hs-fulda.de)
Other users can access free WiFi through “FULDA_MOBIL” at the Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location.
Please note: You cannot access our digital media (e-books, e-journals, databases…) with FULDA_MOBIL.

For more detailed information and help on eduroam please contact Fulda University’s IT Support.

Wired (LAN)

Many of the desks in the Campus location have LAN connection ports which can be used by members of Fulda University. Please log in with your student user identification (fd-number) and password.
You can bring your own LAN cable or buy or borrow one at the service desk.

External access

With the Virtual Private Network (VPN), you can access most of our digital media (e-books, databases,…) from home. Download the VPN-Client (AnyConnect-Client), then log in with your student user identification (fd-number) and password.
Important note: Log in BEFORE opening your browse! Otherwise, you might not be able to access our digital media.
