Children's university Fulda

Immerse yourself in the exciting world of science at Fulda University's children's university! Here, children aged between 8 and 12 can go on a journey of discovery and sit in the lecture theatre like real students. Let our professors introduce you to fascinating topics: Explore the secrets of the universe, unravel the mysteries of the human body, take a look behind the scenes of a bank, discover the diversity of the animal and plant world or find out what gummy bears and potatoes have in common.

At the children's university, you will get to the bottom of the exciting questions of life - with lots of fun and a thirst for knowledge. Join us and become young researchers!

Please note:
During the course, photos will be taken by the university for public relations purposes, for example for publication in print media as well as on the internet (website, social media).

The next Children's University lectures will take place again at the beginning of 2026. The dates will be announced here.

All lectures will be held in German.

Attendance is only possible with pre-registration via Fulda Children's Academy as soon as the programme has been published.

Dein Kopf ist ein genialer Meister-Trickser! Er mag es nicht, wenn zwei Gedanken nicht zusammenpassen – das nennen wir den „Gedanken Knall“! Aber keine Sorge, dein Kopf hat einen geheimen „Friedensstifter“ eingebaut, der diesen Konflikt ganz heimlich für dich auflöst. Mit kleinen Mitmach-Experimenten kannst du dir bei diesem und anderen Tricks deines Gehirns selbst auf die Spur kommen und dich und deine Entscheidungen besser verstehen.
