Arrival by train
Fulda is located at the intersection of many ICE connections and can therefore be reached very easily from the south (e.g. Frankfurt, Frankfurt Airport or Mannheim), the north (e.g. Kassel or Hamburg), the east (e.g. Erfurt or Dresden) and the south-east (e.g. Würzburg or Munich) via direct connections at hourly intervals.
The best way to plan your journey by train is to use the travel information of the Deutsche Bahn.

Local public transport
From the Central Bus Station (ZOB), which is located directly next to Fulda railway station (city centre side), the university can be reached by bus line 6 (direction Lehnerz) every 30 minutes. Arrival by car

A7 exit Fulda Nord, direction Leipziger Str./Hochschule, follow signs.
A66 (Frankfurt/B 40): Exit Fulda-Süd/B27, direction Fulda, exit Leipziger Str./Hochschule, follow signs.
B254 (Alsfeld/Lauterbach): At the entrance to Fulda (after the railway bridge), turn left at the second set of traffic lights towards the city centre. From there direction A1/B27, Leipziger Str., follow the signs.

Parking on campus
A total of 284 parking spaces are available to students and visitors in parking deck P2 and in the open area . Eight additional disabled parking spaces are located above the car park next to the car park entrance P1. For precise directions to P2, here are the GPS coordinates: 50°33.969 North - 9°41.000 East.
You can reach the parking spaces via Daimler-Benz-Strasse(directions overview). Follow the signs and turn left from Daimler-Benz-Straße along car park P3. After a few metres, the parking guidance system will indicate the occupancy of the parking spaces. If there are still spaces available, follow the road that leads past the allotment garden and the railway line to car park P2.
The opening hours are:
Basement car park: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Open-air car park: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Alternative ways to get to FuldaUniversity of Applied Sciences
Maybe you can get to Fulda University of Applied Sciences by bike, bus and train or carpool instead of by car. These options not only save you money, but also help to protect the environment.
The campus is about 15-20 minutes' walk from the station. To get to the university on foot, the route via the station exit facing away from the city centre is shorter. Walk to the Hotel Esperanto and turn left before it until you reach Leipziger Straße. Follow Leipziger Straße uphill until you reach the university.
