The Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences is the only one in Germany, which offers an accredited BSc and MSc (in German and English) in Organic Agriculture as well as research and education in the areas of rural development with regional, and international references and agriculture in the subtropics and tropics. The faculty is well known for its research along the food chain including marketing and nutrition culture as well as nature conservation (member in several EU-projects). The labs are well equipped and allow research as well as interdisciplinary and project orientated student work. The faculty has a traditionally strong international commitment and offers agood campus atmosphere. A Summer and Winter University is offered yearly.
