"A semester abroad in England has been a dream of mine for a long time. I immediately felt at home in Newcastle upon Tyne: the city is cosy and the people are very friendly. Cartagena is a medium-sized city right by the sea, far away from the crowds of tourists. You can experience the "real" Spain. You quickly make contact with the locals and can improve your Spanish. The city is beautiful. There is always something going on and the region offers many options for field trips. We´d always come back to Cartagena!

As I came further with my studies, I realised that I really wanted to have the experience of studying abroad. I wanted to go to some place where I didn't know anything about - Finland was one of those places. I started looking up Diak and Finland and I was impressed with the technology and modernity of the campus and that's why I applied.
