Anjum's testimonial about the International Engagement Circus 2025 in Latvia
The E³UDRES² Digital Hygiene International Engagement Circus (IEC) in Latvia aimed to find solutions to the current pressing issues of digital hygiene, cyber security and responsible use of the internet. The aim was to find innovative ways to create safer digital environments in an ever-connected world that benefit both individuals and enterprises. Through this program, the intercultural understanding of students from nine European countries was supported and we were encouraged to tackle global digital challenges together. What sets E³UDRES² apart from other programs is that while it focuses on societal challenges, it actively involves young, motivated students from diverse backgrounds. This approach enables students like us to play a direct role in shaping the future of Europe. E³UDRES² thus opens up opportunities for intercultural exchange and collaboration in the name of a sustainable, resilient community that generates innovation. The lessons learnt from this experience go far beyond academic knowledge. The program has strengthened my confidence in my ability to turn ideas into real solutions and inspired me to continue advocating for digital responsibility in my daily life. I now have a deeper understanding of how our digital actions are interconnected and the importance of a safe space for everyone in this digital world. The added value of E³UDRES²'s activities is immense: for students, universities and regions. For students, it is a unique platform for working in multicultural teams that gives them the feeling that they are capable of tackling global problems. For the universities, it means strengthening their role as innovators and leaders within the community, while in the regions, these activities develop a workforce that is not only technically competent, but also socially responsible and culturally responsive. E³UDRES² programs like this play an important role in developing a more cohesive, connected and sustainable Europe.
