Valerie's testimonial about the I Living Lab 2024 in Belgium

Our main goal at the E³UDRES² I Living Lab was to collaborate with students from other European universities to develop concepts and tackle real-world problems. For this project, the specialisation was on the topic of artificial intelligence in the health system. Our goal was to define and develop an intelligent and sustainable solution to the challenges of Health Care Management. Every day was full of new experiences. We learnt about cutting-edge technologies at Accenture's offices in Brussels, explored the streets of Hasselt and interviewed people and hospital staff on the topic of innovation in the health system. Each day passed with a mix of learning and hands-on activities, including workshops, discussions and cool tech demonstrations. Of course, we also found time to eat together and explore the cities. The collaboration with students from all over Europe was the best part. We exchanged ideas, learnt from experts and saw how our efforts can make a real difference. Being part of something bigger than myself is truly inspiring.

E³UDRES² is characterised by its specialisation in teamwork and innovation. By bringing students, researchers and industry partners together under one roof, it creates an exciting environment where creativity and problem solving flourish. This course wasn't just about grades - it was about learning practical skills that I can use anywhere. Improving my teamwork and communication skills was just one of the many aspects I grew from this experience. E³UDRES² benefits everyone involved. Through close collaboration with local communities and industry partners, we were able to gain valuable insights while making a positive impact on the world. Knowing that we were helping our universities move forward in the areas of education and innovation made it even better.
