Welcome to Fulda!

At present, over 1,400 international students from more than 110 countries all over the world are studying together with 8,300 German students at Fulda University, in the heart of Germany and the centre of Europe.

We offer a wide range of different types of programmes, including short-term, summer and winter programmes, semester and academic year exchange programmes, full-time degree programmes, international Bachelor´s and Master's programmes, preparatory programmes, as well as a Careers Service for international students.

Social activities and accommodation are also coordinated by the International Office. You can count on our support to make your time at the University as pleasent and successful as possible. Eyeryone in the International Office enjoys working to achieve those goals. At Fulda University we value diversity and the many contributions that international students make to campus life.

The International Office

The International Office is responsible for initiating and implementing international cooperation programmes.  The University has cooperation agreements with numerous universities worldwide.

The International Office provides an all-round service for international students - from information on admission requirements to help finding accommodations, advice on all aspects of the student's study programme and assistance in preparing the return home.  The International Office also organises Orientation Weeks before the semester begins as well as cultural events and excursions.

Coping with the Corona crisis - Services for international students
