Accommodation for visiting researchers
Fulda University is pleased to offer its guests, especially visitors from abroad, comfortable and attractive accommodations for the length of their stay.
The university maintains two flats just minutes from campus, a two-room flat and a one-room studio. Both are located in the Marquard Residence, a lovely historic building that is a registered historic landmark. Originally completed in 1901, a wing of was destroyed in World War II and reconstructed in 2004 as part of a complete renovation of the entire building. Fulda University is happy to be able to offer its guests flats with all modern conveniences in this historical setting.
The two-room flat on the third floor is 33.5 m². It features a bedroom/living room, a dining area with kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a balcony with an excellent view.
The studio on the second floor is 34.5 m², consisting of a combination bedroom and living/dining room with kitchenette, bathroom with tub, and balcony.
The apartments are located just two minutes by foot from the university campus and 15 minutes from the historic Fulda city centre and the railway station. There are also good bus connections into town.
Ultilities are included in the rental fee. A final cleaning fee of €50 is to be added to the price of rent, depending on the length of stay. The additional cost for internet is €20.
