Accommodation for visiting researchers
Fulda University is pleased to offer its guests, especially visitors from abroad, comfortable and attractive accommodation for the length of their stay.
The university maintains two flats just minutes from the campus, a two-room flat and a one-room studio flat. Both are located in the Marquard Residence, a lovely building that is a registered historic landmark. Originally completed in 1901, one wing was destroyed in World War II and rebuilt in 2004 as part of a renovation of the entire building. Fulda University is happy to be able to offer its guests flats with all modern conveniences in this historical setting.
The size of the two-room flat on the third floor is 33.5 m². It features a bedroom/living room, a dining area with kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, and a balcony with an excellent view.
One-room studio flat
The size of the studio flat on the second floor is 34.5 m². It consists of a combination bedroom and living/dining room with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a balcony.
The apartments are located just a two-minute walk from the university campus and 15 minutes from the Fulda's historic city centre and the railway station. There are also good bus connections into town.
Ultilities are included in the rent. A final cleaning fee of €50 must be added to the rent, depending on the length of stay. There is an additional cost of €20 per month for an internet connection.
