Would you like to study at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, but don't feel sufficiently prepared? Then Pre-Study Fulda is the right programme for you.
The preparation programme is tailored to the needs of international applicants.
- German classes: Improve your German skills from beginner to DSH level in intensive courses (please click on the link)
- Academic Courses: Get to know the initial specialist knowledge of your intended degree programme in specialist/bridge courses (only offered in the summer semester)
- Additional modules: Expand your knowledge of "Methods of academic work" at a German university and learn more about"Living and studying in Germany"

Your advantages at a glance

- Course fee can be reduced by 50% for Participants with a refugee background

“Pre-Study Fulda” in the winter semester 2025/26 with 42 participants from 15 countries of origin.
The “Pre-Study Fulda” preparatory program offers intensive German courses at all levels, providing the ideal conditions for a successful start to your studies at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. The two best graduates receive a monthly scholarship of €300 upon enrollment in their first semester, financed by Rotary International District 1820. We congratulate the graduates of the 2025 summer semester, Ms. Phuong Thao Bui (BSc Food Technology) and Mr. Marin Lucas Akpamoli (BSc Applied Computer Science), on their successful admission to the 2025/26 winter semester.
