Application Pre-Study Fulda

Note: Please select “Pre-Study Fulda” at front-page uni-assist, first. As a second step please click on required German course.
The application costs via uni-assist will be reimbursed to future participants. The following documents are required for an application:
- School-leaving certificate with overview of subjects and grades (original language + official translation if the documents are not available in German or English)
- University entrance examination passed in the home country (if required in the home country)
- Proof of periods of study and degrees with overview of subjects and grades, if available (original language + official translation if the documents are not available in German or English)
- Proof of appropriate German language skills
- for the degree programmes "MA Intercultural Communication and European Studies" and "MA Human Rights Studies in Politics, Law and Society" additionally proof of knowledge of English and a letter of motivation (German or English)
- for english taught degree programmes additionally proof of English language skills
- Additionally for applications with documents from China, Vietnam and India*: a scan of the certificate of the Akademische Prüfstelle (APS) of the respective German Embassy , which proves the verification of the submitted documents.

Admission requirements
direct university entrance qualification: Please check the DAAD website or anabin to find out whether you have a direct university entrance qualification.
Subject-specific admission requirements: The subject-specific admission requirements of the respective degree programme must be met.
Language requirements:
1. Pre-Study with beginners' course: no previous knowledge required
2. Pre-Study with B1 course: German language skills level A2 CEFR. This can be proven by:
- Goethe-Zertifikat A2
- ÖSD certificate A2
- telc-Zertifikat Start Deutsch 2/telc Deutsch A2
3. Pre-Study with B2 course: German language skills at least level B1 CEFR. This can be proven by:
- Goethe Zertifikat B1
- Telc-Zertifikat Deutsch B1
Passing the B2 exam is a prerequisite for further participation in the programme with DSH intensive course.
4. pre-study with DSH course: German language skills at least at level B 2 CEFR. This can be proven by:
- Goethe-Zertifikat B2
- ÖSD Certificate B2
- TestDaF with TDN 3 in all sections
- Telc-Zertifikat Deutsch B2
- DSH 1
English courses: Courses of study in the Department of Business and Economics require English language skills at level B 1 (Bachelor) or B 2 (Master). In the winter semester, courses are offered at level B1.1 / B2.1, in the summer semester at level B1.2 / B2.2. Dates for courses and examinations can be found in the Language Centre.
