This course is exclusively for students at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Registration will be accepted by email prepare(at)hs-fulda.de from January 15. Please add enrolment certificate! There is already a waiting list!
The course takes place Monday to Friday every day and is scheduled in a face-to-face format. In order to be admitted to the final examination regularly attendance is mandatory.

Course fee: €700 (students Fulda University of Applied Sciences 300€)
*or when the number of participants is reached! Regularly Attendance is mandatory to take the B2 exam.

- Introduction to German Politics, History & Society (45 class hours)
- Intercultural Training
- Support "International Career-Service" with job and internship placement

Lessons per week : 20 teaching units of 45 minutes each
Application deadline: Applications with pending visa procedure: 15 January 2026*; without pending visa procedure: 1 March 2026*
Course fee: 700 € including DSH-exam (306 € for enrolled students)

To be admitted to the DSH examination, regularly attendance is mandatory.

- Introduction into Methods of higher academic work (2 class hours weekly)
- Intercultural Traning

- Info-Sessions "Living & Studying in Germany"
With proof of German skills level C1 / DSH2 you can attend “Pre-Study Fulda” without DSH-course (course fee 100 €).
Additional costs
- The course fee only covers participation in the classes. Other services (e.g. health insurance, textbooks and accommodation) are not included.
- Upon receipt of the (provisional) admission, part of the course fee is due as an application fee of 300 €. After receipt of the amount, you will receive a final admission (if necessary to apply for a visa). The course fee must be received in full before the course begins, otherwise there is no entitlement to participation. The course fees can also be paid in instalments if desired.
Living expenses: at least 950 € per month, including health insurance (approx. 140 €), rent, etc. However, the actual costs depend on the individual lifestyle. Further information can also be found here.
Enrolment at Fulda University of Applied Sciences is not possible for Pre-Study participants.
