Are you going to be travelling straight from your home country to Fulda? If you are, you will probably find it reassuring to have reserved accommodation before you set off. The International Office can help you to find rented accommodation at special terms and conditions – in publicly owned halls of residence or private apartments.
This accommodation is fully furnished and equipped with bed linen, towels, cooking utensils and cutlery, etc, so you do not need to bring anything like that with you when you move in. You can only rent this kind of accommodation through the International Office.
In recent years, rents in Germany have gone up a lot. This means that you will need to budget for at least €410 each month to cover your rent.
Programme students (Erasmus or Overseas) will receive a link from their coordinator to reserve a room in one of the public halls of residence (see below).

Facilities
Each apartment is equipped with a bed, desk, wardrobe and kitchenette including a freezer. An internet and television connection is available in the living area. Each apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows and a bathroom with a glass shower cubicle.

If you would like to rent one of these rooms or apartments, please contact us as soon as possible after you have received your confirmation of admission from Fulda University, but no later than:
- 1 September (winter semester)
- 1 March (summer semester)
The accommodation is allocated in the order in which applications are received. This means that unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be allocated a specific accommodation or any at all.
Please note that you must move into the accommodation that the International Office allocates to you once you agreed to the offer.
The International Office runs a pick-up service for students who use its accommodation service. If you let us know when you will be arriving in Fulda, you will be collected by a friendly guide and taken to your new home.
