Services on campus

Fulda University of Applied Sciences has two libraries. One is located on campus, the other in the city centre at Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz. If you need books for your courses or research work, ask our library team for assistance. Some books have to be ordered.
You need a library card to borrow books from the libraries.

After you have filled out the form, you will need to present your passport, your registration confirmation from the city of Fulda and a visa that is valid for at least three months at the library service desk. You will then be issued with a library card.

You can borrow books and use lockers with your library card. Books can be borrowed for four weeks. You can extend the loan period three times, provided the books have not been reserved by another user.

Fulda University of Applied Sciences offers various language courses. During your stay in Fulda, you can take part in language courses. Courses are offered in German as a foreign language and in 14 other foreign languages. You can find more information on the website of the Language Centre.

There is an extensive range of sports on campus. Faculty, staff and students may participate in our programme.
Please note that the number of places is limited and that fees apply for an entire semester.

Our refectory offers various dishes prepared from regional products. Please note the opening hours during the semester and the lecture-free period.
You cannot pay with cash in the refectory. You must pay with the staff card or the special MensaCard. You can get a MensaCard from the cafeteria staff. The 5€ deposit for the card will be refunded after you return the MensaCard. You must load the MensaCard with at least 5€.
