In cooperation with the Episcopal Institute of Church Music in Fulda, the HLSB Fulda is staging a special exhibition on Fulda’s musical history in the 18th century from 3 September to 9 at its Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz location, from Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 3.00 pm, a special exhibition on Fulda’s musical history in the 18th century.
The exhibition highlights the role played by the court Kapellmeister of the time, Giovanni Baptista Pauli, in the collection and dissemination of musical knowledge. The first edition of Johann Sebastian Bach’s *Musikalisches Opfer*, which is still held at the HLSB Fulda today, bears witness to the fact that Pauli worked across denominational boundaries.
