How can the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) be used to ensure sustainable business success even in volatile times, and how are companies in the Fulda region putting them into practice?
Answers to these questions will be provided by the FU³lda Sustainability Conference, which is being organised on 23 September by the Fulda Centre for Business Management and Start-ups (FU³) at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
The conference will centre on eight parallel sessions, each comprising a short academic keynote, two practical presentations and a moderated discussion. Twenty renowned companies will provide insights, through their keynote presentations, into the practical implementation of key themes including sustainable human resources management, sustainable business practices, sustainable food systems, renewable energy, climate finance, and sustainability in logistics and lending.
The conference will be complemented by keynote speeches from Stephanie Raabe (SAP SE) on the tension between ethics and AI, and Miriam Gogel (Verso) on supply chain management through digitalisation.
Posters showcasing students’ final-year projects will also highlight current ideas and solutions emerging from the university.

This free event takes place as part of European Sustainability Week, the German Sustainability Action Days and the 9th Hessian Sustainability Day.
