NOTE: This event has already taken place.
The menstrual cycle is not a "women's issue". It plays a role in everyday life (and at work!) - in communication, energy, mood, resilience and well-being. In "Cycle Know-How for all Genders", you will gain understandable knowledge, dispel myths and learn how we can deal with it more openly and respectfully - regardless of gender.
What you can expect:
Why does the cycle actually affect EVERYONE?
Spoiler: Because understanding reduces stress and makes it easier to work together.
Cycle basics without the jargon
What happens in the body when - and why?
The big players in hormones
Oestrogen, progesterone & co.: how they influence the body and mind (e.g. energy, focus, mood, regeneration).
HPV vaccination: much more than "just cervical cancer prevention"
Clarity instead of half-knowledge - so that you can really have a say.
What you can do afterwards:
Better recognise (and reduce) taboos and shame around the menstrual cycle
Translate cycle knowledge into the work context: Find language, avoid misunderstandings, provide better support
More understanding for each other - for a collegial, relaxed working relationship
Recognise warning signs: What is "normal", what is not - and what options for action are available
For whom?
For everyone - regardless of gender, regardless of whether you have a cycle yourself or not. The main thing: curious.
