Free Comic Book Day on 10 May
10 May 2025The University, State and Public Library Fulda is taking part in Germany's Free Comic Book Day for the first time on 10 May - and cordially invites all comic book enthusiasts to the Children and Young Adults Department (location Heinrich-von-Bibra-Platz).
All visitors can look forward to three free comics of their choice - from a diverse selection of exciting, funny, adventurous and fantastic books for all ages. Anyone who comes in fancy dress will receive a fourth comic for free! Whether you're a manga star or your own comic figure - there are no limits to your creativity.
Accompanying the Free Comic Book Day, the exciting workshop "Comic Life" will start in the library from 10 am to 11.30 am.
This workshop teaches in a playful way what makes comics special - from speech bubble types to image design. The Comic Life 3 app can then be used to create your own comics - whether completely new inventions or inspired by well-known stories. For children aged 8 to 12. Limited places!
