Fulda, 14 April 2026 - Fulda University of Applied Sciences and DPD Germany gave the go-ahead for their strategic cooperation at an official meeting on 14 April 2026. The focus is on joint training in the dual study programme in logistics management: in future DPD will send up to seven dual students to Fulda University of Applied Sciences, thereby actively contributing to the related to practice qualification of the next generation of logistics specialists.

Dual study programme as a bridge between theory and practice
The dual study programme in logistics management at Fulda University of Applied Sciences combines academic training with concrete professional practice in placement partner companies. Students not only learn in the lecture room, but also gain valuable experience in one of Germany's leading logistics companies. For DPD the partnership means the opportunity to support talented young people at an early stage and recruit them directly for the company.

Another milestone for the location of Fulda
The cooperation with DPD is one of a growing number of important enterprise partnerships at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Following the successful cooperation agreements with GLS and REWE, the agreement with DPD is another important milestone in the expansion of the dual study programme in the region.
