Instrumental analysis laboratory Building 46, Room 221

The analytical laboratory houses important analytical equipment for the chemical analysis of food, natural substances (of plant and animal origin) and environmental samples.

resources

  • UHPLC-MS/MS system (AmaZon SL LC-MS system: high-performance ion trap for LC/MSn applications, equipped with "dual funnel" ion transmission)
  • HPLC with UV and fluorescence detection with automatic autosampler
  • a UV-VIS photometer for enzymatic and photometric measurement of ingredients
  • a capillary gas chromatograph (FID) for determining, for example, the distribution of fatty acids in foods
  • a flame photometer for the determination of minerals (Na, K, Mg)
  • two plate photometers (UV and fluorescence detection) for the determination of samples on a multi-well scale
