Nutritional physiology laboratory Building 46, Room 230

The macro- and microanatomy of the human gastrointestinal tract is taught in the "Nutritional Physiology" laboratory exercises using models and histological examinations. The digestion and absorption processes of nutrients are analysed and explained in detail using qualitative laboratory chemical detection methods. Quantitative determinations of various blood and urine parameters are carried out to analyse individual nutritional status. Basic laboratory work techniques are used and experiments are carried out, analysed, discussed and documented according to instructions.
